Possible severe weather in the forecast

According to US National Weather Service Charleston SC: A strong cold front will move through the region tonight bringing a threat of severe thunderstorms during the afternoon across our area.

Timing for severe thunderstorms:
*Noon - 4 p.m. across inland areas, mainly west of I-95
*2 p.m. - 6 p.m. across coastal areas, mainly east of I-95
NOTE: Actual storms are expected to last 1-2 hours once they hit our region

Hazards and impacts of severe thunderstorms:
*Damaging winds with gusts in excess of 58 mph which could down trees and powerlines, as well as cause structural damage and power outages.
*A few tornadoes are possible (some could be EF2 or greater).
*Hail 1+inch in diameter is possible which could cause damage to vehicles and sensitive vegetation. 

Please prepare ahead of time by bringing in or securing any items that could becoming flying hazards, stay inside, keep devices charged, and pay attention to your local meteorologists for specific forecasts as they relate to you and your location.
