Town meetings to remain virtual in January

The Town of Bluffton’s public meeting schedule for January is listed below.

All public meetings will be held via Zoom and will broadcast on the Town of Bluffton Government’s Facebook page.

Town Council:

Regular Meeting: January 12 at 5 p.m.

Quarterly CIP Workshop Meeting: January 19 at 5 p.m.

Boards, Committees and Commissions:

Affordable Housing Committee - January 7 at 10 a.m.

Board of Zoning Appeals - January 5 at 6 p.m.

Construction Board of Adjustments & Appeals - January 26 at 6 p.m. 

Development Review Committee - January 6, January 13, January 20, January 27/Every Wednesday at 1 p.m. 

Historic Preservation Commission - January 4 at 6 p.m.

Historic Preservation Review Committee - January 4, January 11, January 25/Every Monday at 4 p.m.

Planning Commission - January 27 at 6 p.m.

Law Enforcement Citizens Advisory Committee - January 14 at 6 p.m.

May River Watershed Action Plan Advisory Committee - January 28 at 9 a.m.

Public comments may be electronically submitted via the Town’s website at: Comments will be accepted up to 2 hours prior to the scheduled meeting start time. All comments will be read aloud for the record and will be provided to Town Council.

During the December 8 Town Council meeting, Bluffton’s Town Council approved an extension to an emergency ordinance to temporarily suspend normal operations of the Town, as needed, to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. The emergency ordinance provides authority under the Town of Bluffton Code of Ordinances for the Town Manager to take measures, as needed, in response to the emergency conditions.
