Message from the Chief
On behalf of the men and women of the Bluffton Police Department, welcome to our website, and thank you for taking the time to read about us. My hope, through the next several pages, is to have you learn more about the department and our approach to working with the community to achieve our goal of Bluffton being the safest community in South Carolina. You will gain an understanding of the various divisions within the department, the services we provide, crime statistics, and how to access important information.
The mission of every man and woman who works here is to enforce the law and serve the community with professionalism and integrity, with an emphasis on community policing. I strongly believe in community engagement. Community problems are often best addressed by working in partnership with citizens; therefore, Bluffton PD will continually strive to improve public relations and increase public confidence.
