The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st until November 30th.

2013 Hurricane Season Predictions
According to Tropical Storm Risk (TSR), an above-average hurricane season is predicted for 2013. TSR predicts the Atlantic basin will see 15.4 named storms (winds of 39 mph or higher), including 7.7 hurricanes (winds of 74 mph or higher), and 3.4 major hurricanes (Category 3, 4 or higher; winds of 111 mph or higher) in 2013.
