The procurement function involves the complete lifecycle of purchasing materials, supplies, equipment, and services at the lowest possible cost, consistent with the quality needed for the proper operation and manageability for various departments’ short and long term needs. The procurement goal is to promote a transparent environment that serves the Town’s best interests through intelligent action, fair dealings and open competition, which will result in obtaining the maximum projected value for each dollar of expenditure.
