Hurricanes are one of the main concerns to residents of our region. The Town of Bluffton has worked in cooperation with Beaufort County and nearby municipalities to prepare emergency plans in the event of a potential or actual storm strike.
We encourage residents to make appropriate preparations before hurricane season begins and to monitor television and radio broadcasts for updates and instruction from local officials. The best way to protect your family from the effects of a disaster is to have a disaster plan.
The Atlantic Hurricane Season begins on June 1st and runs through November 30th.
